The Website Health Checklist

25 practical checks · ~10 minutes · PDF

What you'll check

Five quick sections, five checks each. Tick what is true for your site, then add up your score.

1

First impressions & clarity

Whether a visitor instantly understands what you do, who you help, and what to do next.

2

Mobile & speed

Whether your site loads fast and works comfortably on the phones most people use.

3

Trust & credibility

Whether reviews, an About page, and clear details reassure new visitors.

4

Calls to action

Whether every page makes the next step obvious and easy.

5

Being found (SEO & AI)

Whether your pages answer real questions and can be found in search and AI tools.

Your score

A simple result with clear, encouraging next steps, framed around opportunity.

What your score means

20 to 25: In good shape

Your website is doing a lot right. There are likely still a few quick wins, especially around being found through search and AI.

13 to 19: Clear opportunities

Good foundations, but you are probably losing some visitors before they enquire. A focused round of improvements could lift results, often without a full rebuild.

7 to 12: Holding you back

Your site is likely costing you customers in ways that are easy to miss. The good news is that the gains here are usually the biggest.

0 to 6: Time for a rethink

Your website is probably working against you. A modern, well-built site could transform how your business looks and performs online.
